First Church of Christ, Scientist, Chingford is a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts, founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879 [[10]]. We are a registered charity (number 1028667) dedicated to sharing the healing message of Christian Science.
Christian Science is based on the teachings and healing works of Christ Jesus. The essence of Christian Science is that God is Love and that God's love for humanity is always present and practical in our daily lives [[3]].

We study the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
